The work transforms the overlapping waveforms of Taiwanese and Japanese readings of this phrase into a luminous field of lanterns arranged like moving tides. Each curve is both a trace of language and a rhythm of breath — a voice carried across the sea, across histories, arriving here. The trembling frequencies of Taiwanese intertwine with the flowing tones of Japanese, echoing like two currents meeting at dusk. As viewers walk through the installation, they traverse not only the surface of sound, but the shifting boundaries of memory, language, and belonging.
